Gordon & Amanda!
Congratulations on your wedding!
May you always feel as close as you do this day. May your lives be graced with good health. May you always find happiness in your home, and may it be a refuge from the storms of life. May your love grow ever stronger as you share your lives together, and may your future be even more wonderful than you dreamed possible. My greatest wish for the two of you is that through the years your love for each other will so deepen and grow, that years from now, you will look back on this day, your wedding day, as the day you loved each other the least, love in the big things and love in the small, love in all life brings – and love above all. I am so happy for both of you!
A happy man marries the girl he loves. A happier man loves the girl he marries.
This is Eunice from Korea!
Congratulations on your wedding!!!
I hope your next step would be in full of joy and love.
I really love this website =)
You and your fiance look soooooooo cute!!!
"It is not good for man to be alone!" Gordon you are such a gem in Capelle and I am sure Amanda will make your life complete! :-)
Dear Amanda and Gordon,
Thank you for choosing Sparkle Music and give us a chance to know both of you, a really joyous and bubbly couple:)
We can feel the love both of you exhinits from the photos and its contagious.
We wish you happiness and peace in this amazing journey together:)
Gordon & Amanda, Congratulations that you both are tying the knots together.
I rejoice with you on this big day.
Continue to love each other and remember God is the 3 cord that tie this relationship together. Ecc 4:12 says "...a threefold cord is hard to break.'
Blessings to a new journey that both of you are embarking....waiting to see many little Gordons and little Amandas...8p
Btw, this is the best website that I have seen so far (hahaha...why am I surprised when both of you are so hi-tech)=)
Congratulations on your wedding! Your mom and I go back to high school and I am very blessed for our friendship. I feel very priviledged to read your per-nuptial album and wish both of you happiness and love.
Growing up and old with each other is an adventurous journey. Always remember to have fun in your journey.
Gordon - Welcome to the family, we are truly blessed to have you in the family. Practise 1 Corinthians 13 as you journey on together faithfully with God as the center of both your lives. Love each other unconditionally, top up each other's love bank constantly and work out differences calmly. God is good and gave me/us a son in you!
Amanda - You will always be my beloved, remember that. You are very special to me and I love you a lot. Proverbs 3:5-6 be your guide in your life as you start this new phase/season of your life together. Grow in the gifts that God had bestowed to you and never neglect your commitment to Him. Be a daughter to your parent-in-law and sister to Angela and Gavin and love them as how you have love your dad, amelia and !. Going to miss you a great deal....
Nice preview - really awesome website...!! best wishes for a great future and may you have bundles of joy soon to let Joshua boss around =)
Let's just say...
Good things do happen twice!
Especially if you ask for it nicely. =)
Also, I do my very best to achieve the things I promise ;)
Hmmm....How can I forget this day!
I was a bit zoned out tho' as I slept really late the previous day and work up super early!
We've been together awhile now; time passes so fast!
It's always so when you are having fun! =)
It's fantastic that we both love the same things: reading, watching movies+shows, eating snacks+junk food (haha oops revealed now...), exercising (using our video game machines...we have quite strong thumbs), raiding Kinokuniya and destroying our budgets during sale periods...
We both have our little hobbies like collecting Rilakkuma stuff for her and Superman/Star Wars goodies for him. In fact, we always encourage each other to just go ahead and grab that collector's item asap just in case it is gone forever!!
Most of the time tho', we secretly just take a pic of the item with our phone. ;)
On a more serious note, from day 1, we agreed to always tell each other everything and anything. It is just better that way.
Looking ahead, that is probably what we will always do: sharing everything, working things out together and just be happy!
Well, I just knew. I mean, how can there be someone so like me, but the guy version. Same hobbies, same mindset... Someone who would make me smile for no apparent reason. Someone who I would miss when he’s not around. Someone who makes me want to cry then laugh. Someone who would be always on my side no matter what. Someone to have and to hold =)
It was still in the early stages of our relationship and it was during dinner one evening at Kenny Rogers (Suntec) when I knew she’s the one!
We were chatting about a lot of stuff and I thought to reveal the gamer in me. I figured better share about my gaming addiction early on right? LOL.
I was totally geeking out in our conversation and explaining how Aurebesh is an "exotic language" (AN: By the way, Aurebesh is the writing system used in Star Wars...I had to Google...zzz...) I know a bit of but before I could rattle on about the greatest in digital entertainment (AN: He means games...),she suddenly revealed she loved playing Grand Theft Auto Vice City (OMG!), especially when one can use the cheat code to spawn a tank so you can go nuts in the game.
I had to bite my tongue and pinch my arm to prevent myself from fainting with excitement. =P
The first time we met was when Amanda came in for an interview with our dear friend Nancy. The company was recruiting more members for the operations team. I usually get called in to find out how much MS Office knowledge each candidate possesses.
I still remember the day like it was just yesterday of course!
The conversation went something like this:
Gordon: “Hi, I am Gordon. Nice to meet you.”
We shake hands. I sit down opposite Amanda in the company meeting room.
Gordon: ”Okay, I am here to just see how much MS Office you know.”
I glance at her CV and assumed she’d know how to manage Powerpoint and Word but how about some Excel manipulation?
Gordon: “Ok, just some quick ones on Excel. Can you show me how to do this, this and this? Let me type up some fake data so you can test your formula”
Amanda not saying much; takes over the computer and does it in 5 minutes. (Amanda: I definitely did it in 3 mins…please…)
I look pleased and was preparing to leave to go get Nancy when Amanda said: “By the way, just now you could have used the Autofill option to do your running numbers instead of typing it out.”
(Amanda: I was wondering why would the IT guy be typing out the numbers one by one…)
I was impressed, left and said to Nancy: “She’s great! No problems managing MS Office.”
Amanda joined the company that day.
Looking back, I am pretty sure she might have rolled her eyes as I was typing the sample data. (Amanda: No, I did not roll my eyes! That would be really rude!)
She denies this of course. ;)
(Amanda: Okay, I might have kinda accidentally rolled my eyes. I was looking around, interview jitters :p)
Rilakkuma enjoys relaxing and his favourite things include sleeping (a lot), lying around and eating pancakes… my ideal life! Hahaha… Now you all know why I like Rilakkuma huh!
Well, I’m relatively friendly and easy going so what you see is kind of what you get.
On a normal day, you’ll probably find me lying in bed reading a book and snacking or watching tv (crime shows like Bones, Criminal Minds, CSI etc).
(GN: After watching Doctor Who, especially the 11th Doctor, other shows just don't cut it anymore)
Thank God that Gord also likes doing the same stuff. Can you imagine if he thrives on keeping a busy day daily? I’ll probably die of tiredness!
Someone who is extremely outgoing and completely uninhibited when with other people…
Is sporty and loves the great outdoors…
Needing to be constantly on the move…
These are not things that would be used to describe me! Hahaha!
Other than getting some weekend treats like watching a movie, buying IT stuff or having an occasional nice meal at a restaurant...I love nothing more than being at home.
Tinkering with electronics and computer stuff, reading+ watching some Sci-Fi, playing games…these are my favourite things! Everyone has their own hobbies and I am so happy to have found someone that understands and shares what I like and dislike. =)
We took some photos yesterday at a few locations!
The team at BLC are great and extremely helpful! Big thanks to Pastors Rita and Jimmy! Of course, without Liz's and Lai Pheng's help, our shoot at BLC would not have been possible. Thank you both!
Violette from Fullerton never ceases to amaze us! I go around telling everyone what a great person she is! Extremely helpful, responsive and approachable; a fantastic example of the supremely great service we've been experiencing at Fullerton. She makes her guests/customers always feel fantastic and comfortable; so far always exceeding our needs. Mind blowing! Violette: Thank you for arranging the rooms for us to have our shoot. We really did not want to leave the rooftop area.
The photo on the left; taken by Douglas from Avenue8 with help from Benedict. Thanks for spending the whole day with us and for doing your best to make sure you captured great shots of us. We are looking forward to seeing the rest! =)
My cousin Kenneth took a day off from work specially to make sure we did not have to worry about transport and logistics. Thanks so much man! I really appreciate the time you gave us.
Received this strange device today...
It just appeared on my table...wasn't there this morning...
Came with a message from a Doctor...."It'll come in handy in time"
Threw it in my drybox. Not sure what to do with it...
We love reading! All kinds of stuff!
This is one of our fav websites at this point in time ;)
We also chanced upon this article recently:
Made us think... =)
Woo...been a while since we last posted an update. Wish we could say we were busy preparing for the big day..but we haven't!
We should be sending out a card soon. Look out for that!
It was fun reminiscing how we met and the day we knew...we both had a few laughs as we were typing it out.
I finally sorted out some photos and uploaded a few for the site. More to come!
